Prioritizing rural education
Samavesh has supported HH High School (HHHS) in Brambe, Ranchi (the capital of Jharkhand, India) for over 12 years. The school focuses on providing primary education and equipping students with skills for future financial independence. More than 2,500 students have benefitted from our efforts, which include:
- Sponsoring teachers: We sponsor four teachers who ensure consistent, high-quality student education.
- Technology enablement: We bridge the digital divide by providing laptops for continued learning.
- Classroom maintenance: We funded repairs to fix termite damage in classrooms, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for students.
- Student motivation: We facilitate guest lectures and live counseling sessions to inspire and guide students.
- Performance analysis: We regularly offer feedback on areas for improvement by monitoring key aspects such as academics, extracurricular activities, and attendance.
